Film Production in Nepal
Film Production is a creative and demanding process. Filming during the day and night, in the sun and rain, is a difficult task. One of the most difficult tasks is assembling raw footage and editing it to tell a captivating tale. There are many more challenges for film production in Nepal, such as difficulties in obtaining permits and a lack of resources to work with.
Filming in Nepal, particularly outside of Kathmandu, is primarily reliant on transportation. Because the isolated places have not yet been explored for filming, it is difficult to adopt sufficient procedures for the smooth transfer of equipment and crew. Our first priority is to have a well-experienced driver who understands what type of vehicle is suited for the road to our destination. We have a local and experienced driver that knows the area for destinations such as Lo-Manthang.
As a film producer, we have always done our best to overcome the obstacles that arise while filming. We have everything covered, whether it's the weather or tough areas with no access to electricity.
Permits for filmmaking in Nepal are classified into several sorts. The 'Nepal Filming Permit' is required, as are several additional licenses.
